Subscription Terms

These Subscription Terms ("Terms") govern your use of TrackNotes ("the App"), developed and operated by TrackNotes Audio ("we", "us", or "our"). By subscribing to any paid plan, you agree to these Terms in addition to Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement.

1. About TrackNotes

TrackNotes is an iOS app that lets authors and editors listen to their manuscripts read aloud using text-to-speech, record voice notes while listening, and export annotated documents. The App supports DOCX and PDF files and offers both built-in and premium voice options.

2. Subscription Plans

TrackNotes offers the following plans:

All paid plans are billed monthly. Prices are in US dollars and may vary by region based on Apple's pricing tiers. Applicable taxes may apply depending on your location.

3. Auto-Renewal

Paid subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. If you cancel, your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period, after which it will not renew.

4. Billing

Your Apple ID account is charged at the time of purchase confirmation. Renewal charges are processed within 24 hours before the end of the current billing period at the same price. Payment is handled entirely by Apple through the App Store.

5. Free Trial

We may offer free trials for paid plans from time to time. If a free trial is offered, you will not be charged during the trial period. At the end of the trial, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid subscription unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends.

6. Managing and Canceling Your Subscription

You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your device:

  1. Open Settings on your iPhone or iPad.
  2. Tap your name (Apple ID) at the top.
  3. Tap Subscriptions.
  4. Select TrackNotes and choose Cancel Subscription.

You can also manage your subscription directly within the App via Settings > Subscription > Manage Subscription. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

7. Refunds

All purchases are processed by Apple. To request a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com or contact Apple Support. We do not process refunds directly, as all billing is managed by the App Store.

8. Changes to Pricing or Terms

We may change subscription prices or these Terms from time to time. If we change the price of a subscription, Apple will notify you in advance and require your consent before renewing at the new price. Material changes to these Terms will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

You agree to use TrackNotes only for its intended purpose: listening to and annotating your own manuscripts and documents. You may not:

10. Termination and Suspension

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to paid features if you violate these Terms or engage in fraudulent activity. In the event of termination for cause, no refund will be provided for the remaining subscription period. You may terminate your subscription at any time by canceling as described in Section 6.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. Text-to-speech output is generated by automated systems and may contain inaccuracies in pronunciation or intonation.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, TrackNotes Audio shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, arising from your use of the App or these Terms. Our total aggregate liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in accordance with Apple's standard dispute resolution processes for App Store purchases, or in the courts of competent jurisdiction.
